Carton items in Mover Inventory can now carry their packed-by designation with them. In Item List Management, turning on the Carton toggle for an item now also lets you preset it as CP (Carrier Packed) or PBO (Packed by Owner).
When a crew member selects that item in the app, the Carton toggle switches on and the right Packed by option is already selected — one less tap on every box, and the designation is correct every time because an admin set it deliberately in advance. And on the CMS side, every shipment's Items tab can now filter by CP or PBO, with item counts shown at a glance — perfect for verifying packed-carton totals at invoicing time.
What's New
- CP / PBO preset in Item List Management: when the Carton toggle is on for an item, CP and PBO options appear right in the Carton column — pick the one that applies to that item.
- Automatic carry-over to the app: when the crew selects that item while adding inventory, the Carton toggle turns on automatically and the Packed by choice — Carrier Packed (05) or Packed by Owner (06) — is pre-selected to match the setting.
- Deliberate by design: the preset applies per item, configured intentionally by an admin — nothing defaults silently across a whole shipment, so the CP/PBO decision is always a conscious one.
- CP/PBO filters on shipment items: on a shipment's Items tab, the Sort by menu now includes Carrier Packed (CP) and Packed By Owner (PBO). One click pulls up every carton with that designation, with the count shown in the header — e.g., “4 total items, 3 carrier packed.”

- In the Mover Inventory CMS, go to Settings → Item List. Turn on the Carton toggle for an item, then choose CP or PBO right next to it.

- To review a shipment's cartons by designation, open the shipment's Items tab in the CMS and stay on Show All Items — that's where the CP/PBO filter lives.

Good to Know
- Show All Items only: the CP and PBO options appear in the Sort by menu while you're on the Show All Items tab — they aren't offered inside the individual stage tabs.
- Counts you can bill against: the counts appear both in the Sort by menu and in the filtered header, so you can verify packed-carton totals against the original estimate without opening items one by one.
- The crew stays in control: the preset is a starting point — the Packed by selection can still be changed on the item in the app if the situation on the ground is different.
- Standard packed-by codes: CP maps to Carrier Packed (05) and PBO to Packed by Owner (06), matching the codes on your inventory paperwork.
- Per item, not per shipment: each preset lives on the individual item in your item list, so different carton types can carry different designations side by side.
- Existing items are untouched: carton items you've already created keep working exactly as before until you choose a preset for them.
Available Now
The CP/PBO preset is available now in the Mover Inventory CMS under Settings → Item List, and the CP/PBO filters are live on every shipment's Items tab. Set the preset once per carton item, and your crews pick up the speed on their very next job — while the back office gets carton counts in one click. This enhancement came directly from customer feedback — keep telling us where the clicks add up, and we'll keep removing them.
