Commission plans now stack. Every worker, contractor, and sales user can carry multiple commission plans per service type โ a revenue-based plan and an itemized plan side by side, for example โ and when the job completes, each plan calculates independently and appears as its own line on the work order's Expenses tab, with the section total summing them all.
That means compensation structures that mix models โ a base revenue percentage plus line-item incentives, or an itemized labor commission plus a per-line-item bonus โ are now set up once on the person's profile and paid out automatically, with every component visible on its own line.
What's New
- Multi-select commission assignment: the Select Commission section on worker, contractor, and user profiles now accepts multiple commission plans per service type โ previously, one plan per service type.
- One line per plan on Expenses: each selected commission calculates on its own โ revenue-based, itemized, tiered, or line items โ and shows as an individual row for that person under Sales, Worker, or Contractor Commissions, with its own description and rate.
- Totals that add up: the section total sums the person's commission lines, so a $460 itemized commission and a $1,790 line-item commission pay out as $2,250 โ itemized, visible, and auditable.
- All three compensation types: the same multi-commission support applies to workers, contractors, and sales users alike.
Who This Is For
- Owners and managers running layered compensation โ base commission plus incentives on specific services or line items
- Sales reps and crews earning from more than one commission structure on the same job
- Payroll and back office, who see every component as its own line instead of one merged figure
- Companies with different commission mixes per service type โ each service type keeps its own set
โ๏ธ How to Configure
- For workers: go to Settings โ Resources โ Workers, edit the worker, and in Select Commission pick as many commission plans as apply under each service type.

Resources (1) โ Workers (2) โ Edit Worker โ multiple commissions selected per service type (3)
- For contractors: same flow under Settings โ Resources โ Contractors.

Resources (1) โ Contractors (2) โ Edit Contractor โ multiple commissions under Select Commission (3)
- For sales users and move coordinators: go to Settings โ Users, edit the user, and select multiple plans in their Select Commission section โ here, three plans on the Local service type.

Users (1) โ select the user (2) โ Edit (3) โ multiple commissions selected (4)
- When the job completes, open the work order's Expenses tab. Under Sales Commissions, each of the user's plans appears as its own line โ here a revenue-based commission and a line-items commission, totaled together.

Sales Commissions (1): two commission lines for the same sales user, each calculated on its own (2)
- The same goes for Contractor Commissionsโฆ

Contractor Commissions (1): a revenue-based line and an itemized line for the same contractor (2)
- โฆand Worker Commissions โ one row per plan, with the familiar Calc icon, description, and View Calculation detail on each.

Worker Commissions (1): the same worker earning from two plans, summed in the total (2)
Good to Know
- Per service type: the multi-select works within each service type โ Commercial, Local, Intrastate, Interstate, International โ so a worker's Local mix can differ from their Commercial mix.
- Each line is independent: every commission line keeps its own calculation, description, and rate, and the eye icon's View Calculation breakdown works per line โ so mixed models stay fully transparent.
- Existing setups are untouched: people with a single commission per service type keep working exactly as before; stack more plans only where your comp structure calls for it.
- Pairs with commission transparency: the recently released Description column, Calculate Commission icon, and View Calculation popup all apply to every line here.
