Movegistics AI Product Updates

Release notes, feature announcements, and improvements from the product team.

Product Updates is now two-way. Your end users can submit feature requests, vote on ideas, and follow what you are building, all inside the same page they already use for your changelog. A user asks, others vote it up, you move it onto the roadmap, and when it ships it becomes a Product Updates post. Request to release, one surface.
At Product Updates β Feature Requests, users submit a request with a title and description, vote, and sort by most votes, newest, or trending. Nothing goes public on its own. New submissions land in the Inbox first, where you can, Approve a Listing and Add to Roadmap
The Public Roadmap is a kanban board on your Product Updates page, configured at Product Updates where you can control Status columns, Categories and Vote Count Visibility.
Drag cards between columns to move an item along, and click into a card to review votes and moderate comments. Titles, statuses and categories are all translatable. Available on Growth and above.

Checklists and Resource Centers can now be localized, joining Guides, Hotspots, Banners and Surveys. Every in-app material type is now covered, so a multi-language product no longer has monolingual gaps in the middle of it.
Pull survey responses straight into your AI tools. The MCP Server gained a survey responses tool, so assistants like Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT can read and analyze your survey data in the same session as everything else in your project.
Useful when you want to cross-reference who answered a survey against segments, events, or guide interactions without exporting anything by hand.
Your custom domain configuration is no longer a silent setting. Changes and resets to Knowledge Base and Product Updates custom domains are written to Team Activity Logs, and you get notified if a domain is reset. If your help center or changelog is served on your own domain, you now have a record of who changed what and when.
Hotspots gained three appearance controls. The tooltip placement behavior relative to the beacon is improved, you can replace the default beacon with your own image with its own dimensions, and add a pointing arrow so it is obvious which element the tooltip belongs to.

Missed it live? Our team walked through seven no-code features that make onboarding faster to build and easier to measure, all without leaning on developers. The full recording covers:
Make your standalone Knowledge Base look exactly like your product. You can now apply custom CSS down to the component level, so fonts, spacing, colors, and layout all match your brand instead of a default template.
We doubled down on two of our most recent launches. Session Replay got a refactor with better segmentation, quota handling, and SDK rate limits, while Ask AI for Knowledge Base gained multi-tenant isolation, smarter fallback answers, and UI polish.

Your help center can now answer questions in plain language. Ask AI turns your Knowledge Base into a conversational assistant, so visitors get direct answers instead of digging through articles.
It pulls from your existing KB content, so there's nothing new to maintain. Answers are grounded in your articles, with links back to the source so users can keep reading if they want the full context.
Available across your KB pages and the in-app widget. Works with localized content, so your Spanish visitors get Spanish answers and your French visitors get French ones.
UserGuiding now connects to Slack as a proper app, with per-channel notification routing. Send guide alerts to one channel, survey responses to another and KB feedback to a third. No more single-firehose webhooks.
Setup takes a minute: install the app, pick the events you care about, and route each one to the right channel. Works with all the notification types we already supported (Digest, Activity, Custom Alerts), but now scoped per channel instead of per workspace.
Important: The legacy webhook integration is being retired on May 25. If you're using it, switch to the new Slack app before then to keep notifications flowing.
Make changes to a guide without pushing everything live. Selective Publish lets you choose which steps, branches, or modifications to ship, while keeping the rest in draft.
Useful when you're iterating on one part of a flow but don't want unfinished work going to production. Edit freely, test locally, and publish only what's ready. The rest stays in your drafts until you say so.
Banners now support full localization, so you can run the same campaign across regions without spinning up duplicates. Write your banner once, add translations for each language you support, and UserGuiding will serve the right version based on the visitor's locale.
Works with all banner types and pairs with AI Auto Translate if you want a head start on translations.
Highlight important info inside KB articles with callout blocks. Use them for warnings, tips, notes, or anything you want readers to actually notice instead of skim past.
Five styles available (Info, Tip, Warning, Important, Note), each with its own color. Drop them into any article from the editor toolbar.

Watch exactly how users interact with your onboarding. Full session recordings capture page navigations, clicks, scroll depth, rage clicks, and errors.
Your dashboard tells you what is happening. Session Replay shows you why. Spot where users drop off, identify frustration points, and understand the real experience behind your numbers.
Save smart collections of sessions into Playlists with flexible filters: duration, browser, rage clicks, errors, user segment, and more. You're in full control of privacy with configurable masking levels, sample rates, page targeting, and audience settings.
Connect AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT directly to your UserGuiding project data using the MCP Server.
Manage users, search by attributes or events, track events, and create or update Knowledge Base articles, all through natural language. 17 tools available, HTTPS-only, project-scoped, and using the same rate limits as the public API.
Head to Settings β MCP & API Key to grab your key and get started.
Track user interactions on your site without writing any code. Using the UserGuiding Chrome Extension, you can visually select any element, pick an interaction type, and start tracking instantly.
Four track types are supported: Click, Hover, Focus, and Input Filled. You also get Page View Events, which fire automatically when users visit URLs matching your rules. Set up URL match conditions like Equals, Contains, Starts With, or Ends With and let the SDK handle the rest.
All events work with segments, goals, and analytics, so you can use them across targeting, reporting, and A/B testing without any developer involvement.
Stay on top of your onboarding performance without checking the dashboard. Configure exactly how and when you get notified via Email, Slack, or the new Panel Notification Center.
Digest (Weekly): Performance summary with week-over-week comparisons for users, interactions, and material views.
Activity (Daily): New survey responses, product updates reactions, and KB reactions. Only sent when there's new data.
Custom Alerts: Set policies for Guides and Surveys. Get notified when materials aren't started, aren't completed, or when target elements aren't found. Scope to all materials or a specific one, with unlimited policies.

Expanding to new markets shouldn't mean rebuilding your onboarding from scratch. Auto Translate now covers Guides and Hotspots, joining Knowledge Base articles and Product Updates posts. Translate your step-by-step walkthroughs and contextual highlights into 50+ languages directly from the Localization tab of any Guide or Hotspot. It's the same one-click experience you already know from KB and Product Updates translation.
You can now add a Rich Content module to any Resource Center from the panel editor. Write and format content right inside the module using headers, lists, links, and images β perfect for quick tips, contextual guidance, or anything that doesn't need a separate page.
Previously, adding custom content to a Resource Center meant linking to external URLs or referencing other materials. The Rich Content module lets you create lightweight, in-context content right where your users need it β no extra pages, no redirects. You'll find it alongside your existing module types when you click Add Module in the Resource Center Editor.

Turn survey responses into actionable insights automatically. Stop spending hours analyzing open-text responses. AI Insights reads through your survey replies and delivers clear summaries, identifies patterns, and provides recommendationsβall in seconds.
What You Get:
Localize your content instantly. Translate your Knowledge Base articles and Product Updates posts into any language with a single click. No more manual translation workflowsβjust click, translate, and publish.
Export AI Assistant conversation data as CSV files. Choose your timeframe and include custom attributes to get exactly the data you need for reporting or analysis.
Get richer context in your survey notifications. Include custom user attributes alongside response detailsβknow exactly who responded without leaving Slack.
Upload custom icons for your Knowledge Base categories to match your brand and help users navigate your help content more intuitively.
New methods to programmatically control Resource Center navigation: open specific groups, checklists, rich text modules, KB articles, PU posts, and switch between KB and PU tabs.
