Getting from a grid to the record behind it is now a single click, everywhere. The Contact Name and Company Name columns in Sales β Work Requests, Sales β Estimates, and Operations β Work Orders now behave consistently: click a contact and you land on that contact's detail page in the Contacts module; click a company and you land on that company's detail page in the Companies module β with the correct record loaded every time.
β¨ What's New
- Sales β Work Requests β the Company Name column is now clickable and routes to the company's detail page. Contact links continue to work as before.
- Sales β Estimates β the Company Name column is now clickable and opens the associated company record. Contact links continue to work as before.
- Operations β Work Orders β both columns are now live: the Contact Name opens the related contact record, and the Company Name opens the related company record.
- Consistent everywhere β all three grids now navigate the same way, so muscle memory from Sales carries straight into Operations.
π₯ Who This Is For
- Sales reps and estimators β who jump from a work request or estimate to the company record to check account details without a detour through the Companies module.
- Dispatchers and operations teams β who can now open the contact or company behind any work order directly from the Work Orders grid.
- Account managers handling corporate clients β who move between a client's requests, estimates, and orders and their company page all day long.
βοΈ How to Configure
There's nothing to set up β the links are live in each grid automatically.
- In Sales β Work Requests, click any name in the Contact Name or Company Name column to open that record's detail page.

- In Sales β Estimates, the Contacts and Company Name columns work the same way.

- In Operations β Work Orders, both Contact Name and Company Name are now clickable links too.

π Good to Know
- Links land on the exact record. Each click navigates to the corresponding contact or company detail page with the correct details loaded.
- Blank means blank. Rows without an associated company show a dash in the Company Name column β there's simply no record to open.
- Works with your saved views. The links are part of the columns themselves, so they work in any view where Contact Name or Company Name is displayed.
