What your supervisor observes on-site now goes on the record β right where it matters.
Based on a customer's request, the Crew App's Forms and Documents section now includes an Exceptions/Description field on both the origin and destination acknowledgements.
Whatever the supervisor types on the day of the move β say, "3 TVs verified, 2 are fine & 1 has a crack on the right bottom corner" β flows straight into the Bill of Lading PDF, placed between the form's standard language and the shipper's signature line. The customer signs directly beneath the noted condition, giving both sides a clean, timestamped record.
β¨ What's New
- Exceptions/Description field on acknowledgements β a free-text field on the Pickup Acknowledgement (origin) and Delivery Acknowledgement (destination) in the Crew App's Forms and Documents.
- Notes land on the BOL β the supervisor's text populates the generated Bill of Lading PDF in the signing section, between the standard form language and the Shipper's Signature line.
- Captured at the right moment β the field is filled in on-site, on the same screen where the customer signs and confirms, so condition notes and signature are captured together.
π₯ Who This Is For
- Crew supervisors β who verify item condition on-site (pre-existing TV damage, scratches, missing cables) and need those observations documented before loading or after delivery.
- Owners and claims handlers β who get the exception noted on the signed BOL itself β with the customer's signature directly below it β rather than in a separate notes field.
- Your customers β who see exactly what was documented before they sign, keeping expectations clear on both sides.
π§ How to Use It
- In the Crew App, open the work order and tap Forms and Documents.

- Choose the acknowledgement for the current stage β Pickup Acknowledgement at origin or Delivery Acknowledgement at destination.

- Type the supervisor's observation in the Exceptions/Description field, collect the signature, and tap Confirm.

- The note appears in the Bill of Lading PDF's signing section β between the form's standard language and the Shipper's Signature line β exactly where the condition record belongs.

π Good to Know
- Available at both ends of the move. Origin and destination acknowledgements each have their own Exceptions/Description field, so condition can be documented at pickup and again at delivery.
- Optional by design. The field can be left blank when there's nothing to note β the acknowledgement completes as usual.
- Signed beneath the note. Because the text sits above the shipper's signature on the BOL, the customer's signature acknowledges the documented condition.
π Available Now
The Exceptions/Description field is live in the Crew App's Forms and Documents for both pickup and delivery acknowledgements. Note it on-site, get the signature, and the BOL tells the whole story.
