Every moving company closes out a job differently β some require a formal Terms & Conditions acceptance on the Final BOL, some capture a carrier signature alongside the shipper's, and some let crews carry a remaining balance forward to the next work order. Three new Crew App permissions now put each of those choices in the administrator's hands, configurable per service type, so the Crew App matches your close-out process exactly.
β¨ What's New
- Terms & Conditions Acknowledgement Required β when enabled, the Terms & Conditions checkbox appears in the Final BOL confirmation popup and the crew member must accept it before confirming the Final BOL. When disabled, acceptance isn't required.
- Show Carrier Signature in Final BOL β shows or hides the Carrier Signature section in the Final BOL confirmation popup. This controls visibility only β it doesn't add signature validation.
- Carry Forward β enables or disables the Carry Forward option in the Crew App. When disabled, the Carry Forward button is hidden from crew members.
- Per-service-type control β like all app permissions, each can be toggled independently for Local, Intrastate, Interstate, Commercial, and International jobs.
π₯ Who This Is For
- Owners and administrators β who decide what the close-out flow must include: a formal T&C acceptance, a carrier signature, or neither.
- Operations managers β who run different rules for different service types β for example, requiring T&C acknowledgement on interstate jobs but not local ones.
- Companies controlling payment flexibility β who want to allow or prevent crews from carrying a balance forward instead of collecting it on the spot.
βοΈ How to Configure
- Navigate to Settings β Crew App β General and open the App Permission tab.
- Find the three new rows β Terms & Conditions Acknowledgement Required, Show Carrier Signature in Final BOL, and Carry Forward β and check or uncheck each per service type.

π Good to Know
- T&C is enforced; carrier signature is not. With T&C acknowledgement enabled, the Final BOL cannot be confirmed until the box is checked. The carrier signature permission only shows or hides the section β it doesn't block confirmation.
- Hiding Carry Forward removes the button entirely. Crews on that service type simply won't see the option, so the full balance is collected at close-out.
- Mix and match by service type. Each permission is a separate checkbox per service type, so your Local close-out can differ from Interstate or International.
π Available Now
All three permissions are live under Settings β Crew App β General β App Permission. Set them once per service type, and the Crew App's Final BOL and payment flow will follow your rules on every job.
