Storage unit names can now match the tags on your actual vaults. A new Unit Number Position setting on each unit type lets you choose whether units are named number first (1B, 2B, 3B…) or number last (B1, B2, B3…). If your physical vault tags read number-first, set the unit type to match — and when your crew bulk-creates units in the Mover Storage app, every unit comes out named exactly like the tag on the vault. No translating between formats on the warehouse floor.

• Unit Number Position on the unit type: a new choice on Add/Edit Unit Type in the Mover Storage CMS — Unit Number First or Unit Number Last — set per unit type.
• Applied when units are created: adding units in the Mover Storage app names them according to the unit type's setting — a number-first type with initials A1 produces 1A1, 2A1, 3A1, and so on.
• Consistent where the crew works: the unit's name displays the chosen way in the storage app's Units list — and it's the name that goes onto the QR labels you print from there.

⚙️ How to Configure

1) In the Mover Storage CMS, go to Warehouse Management → Unit Types and add or edit a unit type. Under Unit Number Position, choose Unit Number First or Unit Number Last, then submit.

2) Create units as usual in the Mover Storage app — Units → +, pick the unit type, quantity, and starting sequence. The new units are named per the setting — here, number first: 1A1, 2A1, 3A1…

Good to Know

• Per unit type: each unit type carries its own position setting, so vaults can run number-first while racks stay initials-first.
• Existing units are untouched: the setting applies when units are created — units you've already made keep their names and their QR codes keep working.
• Match the tag, print the tag: Print QR Code uses the unit's name, so labels come out reading the same as the physical tag your crew sees on the vault.
