Our biggest upgrade to record pages yet. We've replaced the Notes and Recent Notifications cards on your Supplier, Contract, Sourcing and Savings records with Latest Activity — a single timeline of everything that happens on a record.

• One chronological feed of everything on a record, replacing the separate Notes and Recent Notifications cards
• Log Notes, Emails, Calls, Meetings, Tasks and Documents, each with its own quick form
• Assign Tasks with due dates and automatic emails when they're assigned and completed
• Paste in email threads and meeting transcripts as searchable text, and @mention record owners in notes
• System events like approvals and status changes appear automatically
• Filter by activity type, expand to full screen, and see who did what at a glance
• The tab is now called Latest Activity across all modules (eSourcing tab name remains 'Overview')

🔒 Record-Level Access

Take control of who can see and change individual records — a standardised, opt-in setting across all four modules.

• Set one of three access levels on any record: open to everyone, view-all with owner-only editing, or owners-only
• View-restricted records are hidden from tables for non-owners, while still counting towards your dashboard totals
• A clear lock icon flags read-only records, and administrators always keep full access

🔄 Reopen & Edit Sourcing Activities

You can now make changes to a sourcing activity as part of reopening it.

• Add or remove sections, questions, documents or pricing before resending to suppliers
• Step back through the eSourcing wizard, prepopulated with the activity's existing content
• The original round stays untouched until you finish, and a clear confirmation summarises what suppliers need to know
• The reopen button is now labelled Reopen/Edit

A new Request Documents step in the sourcing wizard will let you tell suppliers exactly which documents to upload, with submission blocked until they’re provided.

Each scorecard tab now opens with an interactive trend chart, so you can see how a supplier's performance is moving over time.

• Tracks the supplier's average score across all completed scorecards in that tab (scorecards not yet scored are excluded)
• View by month, zoom in and out, and switch time ranges using the quick-select buttons

📊 Supplier Onboarding Trends

The Supplier Onboarding page now leads with a clear month-by-month view of your onboarding pipeline.

• New Supplier Onboarding: Starts vs Completions by Month chart above the main table
• Compare suppliers who started onboarding (blue) against those who completed it (green) each month
• Zoom in and out to focus on the period you care about

✨ eSourcing Record Improvements

We've reformatted tables and refined the interface across eSourcing records, with several targeted upgrades to make analysis and supplier evaluation faster and clearer.

• Cleaner questionnaire responses — the questionnaire response table now drops the Questionnaire Name column and shows just the question itself. Two new linked filters (choose a Questionnaire Name, then a Questionnaire Area) let you view the answers for one area of one questionnaire at a time. Before any filter is applied, the table prompts "Please select a questionnaire and questionnaire area from the filters above."
• Supplier-by-supplier financials — the first table on the Financials tab now reads with suppliers as columns and the financial lines as rows, under a new Financial Totals column. Side-by-side comparison across suppliers is far easier.
• Clearer scoring context — opening a questionnaire or supplier section response now shows the supplier and scorer in the title, e.g. Commercial & Pricing Questionnaire – [Supplier] ([Scorer]).
• Score-by-scorer detail — on the Scoring Analysis tab, both Score by Scorer tables now include an 👁️ eye icon beside each % score. Clicking it opens the full scoring breakdown — each scorer's individual scores and any comments they left — and updates dynamically with the scorer selected in the filter.
• Reopened activity banner — when an activity is reopened, a purple banner now appears at the top noting who reopened it and when. It clears automatically once the activity passes its closing date or is awarded, when the relevant status banner takes over.

🔗 Sourcing Supplier & Invitation Improvements

It's now easier to work with suppliers and their contacts directly from a sourcing record.

• Supplier names in the sourcing supplier table are now clickable links to the supplier record
• New Email Address column added after the Email Invite Status column
• Supplier contact email addresses now show in the invite dropdown, matching the experience when you first create an activity
• Create a brand-new supplier contact directly from the invite dropdown, without leaving the modal

👤 Profile & My Records

Your profile is now a richer home for everything you're responsible for.

• New My Records tab (after Notifications) listing every supplier, contract, sourcing activity and savings record where you're an Owner or Manager
• Record titles link straight to the record (new tab), green ticks show whether you're the Owner, Manager or both, and you can filter by module to focus your view
• Full-screen mode added to the Recent Sessions, My Records and Notifications tables
• Export added to My Records
• Admins can now view any user's My Records from their profile under Settings, to see exactly what each user is responsible for

📥 Import Enhancements

Contract imports are more flexible, and templates are now on hand to get you started faster.

• Include any currency in your contract import — if it isn't active in the system yet, oboloo will activate it automatically with a 0.0 exchange rate for you to update
• Downloadable import templates now available for both suppliers and contracts on the Import Data page
• Prefer your own file? You can still upload a custom CSV and map fields as usual

👥 Duplicate Supplier Contacts Across Suppliers

Contacts who work across more than one supplier can now be added to each.

• The same contact email address can now be used across multiple suppliers (for example, a shared contact for both Supplier 1 and Supplier 2)
• Removes blockers when the same person represents several suppliers

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Sourcing supplier dropdown: New suppliers added via Invite a New Supplier on a sourcing activity are now immediately selectable from the supplier dropdown, fixing a regression where the supplier was created in Supplier Management but couldn't be selected.

This month we’ve focused on giving you more flexibility within sourcing activities, deeper visibility into your savings data, and launching several new ways for you to interact with the oboloo team and help shape our future.

🎉 New Features

🔄 Flexible Sourcing Invitations You are no longer locked into your initial supplier list once a sourcing activity is created.

• Invite Post-Creation: A new "Invite New Suppliers" button allows you to add suppliers and contacts to an active sourcing event without having to restart the process.
• Manage Active Contacts: Within the Invited Suppliers table, a new View/Edit button lets you manage individual contact access.
• Revoke Access: You can now revoke access for specific supplier contacts immediately. To ensure participation, the system will prevent revoking the final contact unless a replacement is invited first.

🗺️ Enhanced Visualizations & Full-Screen Mode We’ve upgraded how you interact with your data charts:

• Contracts by Location: This graph now supports a Full-Screen toggle for a larger workspace.
• Expanded Insights: The graph now supports more than 5 locations. If you select 10 locations in your filters, all 10 will now display (default remains 5 for clarity).
• Global Table Updates: Full-screen functionality has been rolled out to the majority of tables and cards across the entire platform.

📈 Savings & Milestone Management

• Milestone Table Defaults: We’ve cleaned up the default view for individual savings records. Baseline Spend is now hidden by default, while Total Projected and Total Realised Savings have been added for immediate visibility.
• Main Table Customization: Six new columns (including Savings Start/End dates and Cost Avoidance vs. Reduction) are now available via the "Edit Columns" button on the Savings Management main table.
• Cleaner Dashboards: The "Projected vs Realised Savings by Category" graph (and several others) now automatically hides categories that have zero or null data, keeping your charts focused only on active spend.

🔍 Search & Collaboration

• Supplier Portal Quick Search: Added a free-text search box to Scorecards, Supplier Documents, and Contract Document tabs to help you find specific files or questionnaires instantly.
• Editable Notes: Users can now edit notes they have created across all modules. A new (non-default) Updated At column can be enabled to track when notes were last modified.

• Data Integrity: Improved the logic for category-based savings graphs to ensure 100% accuracy between the dashboard view and the underlying records.

✅ Milestone-Level Approvals Based on user requests, we are building a more granular approval workflow. Soon, you will be able to require specific sign-offs for individual milestones as they are completed, rather than just approving the initial savings record.

🚀 Streamlined Data Imports We are working on an "Easy-Start" import tool that allows new users to upload supplier and contract data while skipping non-essential mandatory fields, making it faster than ever to get your data into oboloo.

📅 Record Metadata We will be adding "Created On" and "Created By" fields to the summary cards of all records (Suppliers, Contracts, and Sourcing) to match the Savings module, ensuring you always know who initiated a record.

🖥️ Expanded Visualizations Following the success of our graph updates this month, we will be rolling out Full-Screen mode to all remaining charts across the platform. We are also upgrading these charts to allow for additional data axis points, so you can visualize more locations, categories, and departments simultaneously without the "Top 5" restriction.

🖼️ Automatic Supplier Branding & UI We will be moving the "Company Website" field under the supplier records to the left-hand summary card and adding it to the initial supplier creation flow.

• Why it matters: By populating this field, oboloo automatically fetches the supplier’s logo (favicon) from their website. This ensures your records look professional and are easily identifiable at a glance without you having to manually upload images. this should encourage users to populate this field more often, however it will remain an optional field.

📊 Smarter Dashboard Graphs

• Hide Empty Data: This month, on the Savings Management home page, graphs now automatically hide categories that have zero or null data. This cleans up your X-axis and removes clutter from categories not in use. We will be adding the same changes to other graphs on the platform for the March release.
• Full-Screen & Expanded Data: We’ve added a full-screen toggle to the Contracts by Location graph this month and updated it to show more than 5 locations when selected in your filters. We will be applying similar functions to other graphs on the platform for the March release.

🤖 oboloo AI: Today View Prototyping We are now prototyping the “What Should I Do?” view. This AI-driven feature is being designed to analyze your upcoming deadlines and automatically categorize them into "Do Now" and "Next" lists so you never miss a renewal.

Following a couple of months focusing on enhancing the security, usability and stability of the platform, there are a lot of planned new releases scheduled in the Feb 2026 release. Watch this space!

🤖 oboloo AI: Training the Models We are currently in the data-mapping phase for oboloo AI. This month, we’ve been "teaching" our AI how to recognize specific procurement data points so that when we launch the Record Summary Panel, it can accurately highlight your key contract risks instantly.

This month’s release brings greater control to supplier onboarding, clearer document visibility, smarter savings management, and automatic supplier branding — all built from your feedback.

🎉 New Features

🛠️ Remove or Add Suppliers to Onboarding
You can now remove a supplier from the onboarding process via the "Remove from Onboarding" action

• Any incomplete requests will be cancelled, and suppliers will be notified
• A new red Remove from Onboarding button has been added to the onboarding record page
• Any documents or scorecards that have been uploaded/completed by the supplier prior to removing them from the onboarding process will remain on the suppliers main records page.

📦 Onboard Existing Suppliers (Not Just New Ones)

You can now add existing suppliers into the onboarding process, not just newly created ones.

• A new + Onboard a Supplier button lets you choose between onboarding a new or existing supplier
• Existing suppliers can now be selected via dropdown and added straight into the onboarding workflow
• Once added, they can receive onboarding packages, document requests, and scorecards
• After onboarding, you’ll be prompted to jump directly to their onboarding record or stay on the dashboard

This update makes it easier to ensure ongoing compliance for suppliers already in your system.

📈 Editing Realised Savings Post Milestone Completion
Users can now edit realised savings after completion of a milestone. This ensures that if a user makes a mistake or realise more savings than expected post completion, they can reflect that in their savings activities.

🖼️ Automatic Supplier Logos
• oboloo now fetches a logo from a supplier’s website automatically using their domain
• You can still upload or override logos manually, which will take priority

• The 'Company Website' field MUST be populated under the 'Contract info' tab within the suppliers record page for the suppliers logo to be automatically fetched from their website

📄 Active Status Indicators on Documents
• A new ‘Active Status’ column shows for supplier and contract document tabs
• Green button = Active (expiry date is in future)
• Red button = Expired (expiry date has passed)

🖥️ Full Screen Tables
• Some tables now support a full-screen toggle to expand your workspace
• Click the icon in the top right-hand corner of the tables to try it out
