Truck weight tickets now travel with the shipment. Crews can capture scale tickets directly in the Mover Inventory (Mobile QR Inventory) app — photo, ticket details, and carrier signature — right at the stages where trucks get weighed.
Net weight and final net weight are calculated automatically, every ticket auto-syncs to the CMS under the shipment's Documents tab, and your customer sees the same details in the customer portal. It's part of the default workflow, with an optional setting to make it mandatory.
✨ What's New
- Weight Tickets in the app — available by default from the Shipment Details menu at (Add Items to Inventory, origin Stage) and (Remove Items from Inventory, destination Stage). No setup required.
- Guided ticket capture — ticket number, date of weighing, weight type (Light, Heavy, or Reweigh), weight, tractor/vehicle and trailer numbers, commodity, carrier name, carrier signature, and a photo of the scale ticket (JPG or PNG).
- Automatic weight math — Net Weight is calculated as Heavy Weight minus Light Weight, and Final Net Weight is the lower of Net Weight and the latest Reweigh — with in-app tooltips explaining each.
- Optional mandatory flow — a per-shipment-type setting can require a weight ticket before the crew can complete the stage.
- Synced everywhere — uploaded tickets appear in the CMS under View Shipment → Documents → Truck Weight Tickets (grouped by Light, Heavy, and Reweigh) and in the customer portal.
👥 Who This Is For
- Crews and drivers — who weigh the truck at origin and destination and can now record the ticket on the spot, photo and signature included.
- Operations and compliance teams — who need weight documentation attached to the shipment record instead of chasing paper tickets.
- Billing teams — who bill by weight and rely on accurate net and final net weights, calculated consistently every time.
- Your customers — who see the same weight ticket details in the customer portal for full transparency.
⚙️ How to Configure
The feature is on by default. In the app:
- On a shipment at (Add Items to Inventory, origin Stage) or (Remove Items from Inventory, destination Stage), open the actions menu on Shipment Details and tap Weight Tickets.

- The Weight Tickets screen shows running Net Weight and Final Net Weight. Tap the + icon to add a ticket.

- Fill in the ticket: Ticket Number, Date of Weighing, Weight Type (Light / Heavy / Reweigh), Weight, and Carrier Name are required, along with the Carrier Signature and an attached Scale Ticket photo (JPG or PNG). Tractor/Vehicle No., Trailer No., and Commodity are optional. Tap Upload.

- The uploaded ticket appears as a card with the scale ticket photo, ticket number, date, tractor/trailer, carrier, weight, and a Signature Captured badge. Tap the info icons to see how Net Weight (Heavy − Light) and Final Net Weight (lower of Net Weight and latest Reweigh) are calculated.

- To make it mandatory: in the Mover Inventory CMS, go to Settings → Shipment Type, edit the shipment type, and under General Settings, enable Upload Truck Weight Ticket. Crews must then upload a ticket before completing Origin or Destination Stages.

- Every ticket auto-syncs to the CMS: open View Shipment → Documents to see the Truck Weight Tickets section grouped by Light, Heavy, and Reweigh, each with ticket number, weight, weighing date, and View Details. The same view is available to your customer in the portal.

🔎 Good to Know
- Default workflow, optional enforcement. Weight Tickets appear automatically in the app; only the mandatory requirement needs a setting, and it applies to Stage 1 and Stage 4 only.
- The math is handled for you. Net Weight = Heavy − Light; Final Net Weight = the lower of Net Weight and the latest Reweigh, calculated once all required tickets are in.
- One source of truth. The app, the CMS Documents tab, and the customer portal all show the same synced ticket details.
