Weβre excited to introduce a new set of enhancements to Mobile QR Inventory, designed to improve inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. These updates introduce new data capture fields for drivers, van line affiliations, high-value items, firearms, bulky articles, and safes, helping moving companies maintain more complete inventory records throughout the move lifecycle.
Whether youβre documenting valuable household items, transporting regulated equipment, or managing bulky specialty articles, these enhancements provide better visibility and more detailed shipment documentation.
This release includes six new enhancements:
These enhancements are ideal for:
Accurate inventory documentation is one of the most critical parts of the moving process.
These enhancements help organizations:
A new Driver ID field has been added for Worker users within Mobile QR Inventory.
This allows organizations to associate a unique driver identifier with crew members responsible for transporting shipments. Recording the Driver ID improves shipment traceability, internal accountability, and operational reporting.
Once configured, the Driver ID becomes available for operational use within Mobile QR Inventory.

Organizations can now maintain Van Line Affiliation and Van Line Agent ID directly at the company level.
This enhancement is especially beneficial for interstate movers and companies operating under major van line networks. Recording this information ensures shipment documentation aligns with industry affiliations and simplifies operational reporting.
Supported affiliations can be selected from the available dropdown list.

High-value items now support two additional identification fields, providing more detailed documentation for expensive customer belongings.
These fields help movers accurately document electronics, collectibles, luxury furniture, and other valuable possessions, making inventory verification easier during pickup, storage, transportation, and delivery.

To support safer transportation and improve inventory documentation, firearm records now include five mandatory fields.
All fields are mandatory before saving a firearm item, ensuring complete documentation throughout the shipment process.
Detailed firearm documentation helps:

A new Bulky Articles section has been introduced to simplify documentation for oversized specialty items that require additional handling.
Instead of manually entering these items, crews can select from a predefined industry-standard list.
After selecting an article, crews can record additional details such as:
This information helps dispatchers and crews prepare appropriate equipment, labor requirements, and transportation planning for oversized items.

Organizations can now classify safes based on their estimated weight.
This provides better planning for specialized handling equipment, manpower requirements, and transportation safety.
Selecting the appropriate weight category helps crews prepare for proper lifting techniques and equipment before moving heavy safes.

These Mobile QR Inventory enhancements continue to strengthen inventory management by capturing richer shipment details, improving operational visibility, and supporting industry best practices. From driver identification to specialized item documentation, these updates help moving companies maintain accurate records while delivering a more professional and reliable moving experience.
