We're excited to introduce User-Level Content Access — a powerful new permission setting in Movegistics AI that gives you granular control over what each user can see across every module in the platform.
With the new Module Access controls, administrators can now decide whether users should:
✅ View all company data across the organization
OR
✅ View only the records assigned specifically to them
This enhancement is designed with moving companies in mind: keeping your sales reps focused on their own leads, your coordinators working within their assigned jobs, and your operations running cleanly without data overlap.
• Moving company owners
• Sales managers
• Operations managers
• Dispatch teams
• Move coordinators
• Companies with multiple sales reps or departments
Before this update, users with access to a module (like Work Requests or Leads) could see all records across the company — regardless of who owned or was assigned to them.
For example:
However, once module access was granted, users could still view records belonging to other team members.
This created challenges for companies that wanted:
• Sales reps to view only their own leads and opportunities
• Coordinators to manage only assigned jobs
• Cleaner dashboards and calendars
• Better data privacy between teams
• Reduced clutter and distractions
Go to: Settings → Users → Edit / Add Permissions
You’ll now see a new section called:
Two new permission options are now available:

Inside Settings → Users → Permissions, you'll now find two new access controls under Module Access:
The user can see all data across every enabled module — regardless of assignment. This is ideal for admins, managers, and owners who need a full view of the business.
When enabled, the user will only see records assigned to them — even if they have access to all modules.
Specifically:

Go to: Settings → Users → Permissions
Create or edit a permission role.
Example:
• Sales
• Surveyor
• Coordinator
• Dispatcher

Inside Module Access:
✅ Enable User Level Content Access
Then enable the modules the user should access.

When that user logs in, they will only see the data assigned to them — nothing more, nothing less.
Example:

David is a sales rep with the "Sales" permission, which has User-Level Content Access enabled.
When Jaishyam logs in, he sees only the work requests where he is listed as the owner or move coordinator, the estimates he created, the leads assigned to him, and the calendar events where he is the surveyor.
If a work request is reassigned away from him, it disappears from his view automatically. If a new one is assigned to him, it appears right away — no manual filtering needed.
✅ Cleaner workflows — Users work within their own scope without noise from other reps' data.
✅ Better data hygiene — Records are naturally associated with the right people.
✅ Manager confidence — Ops managers and owners can control visibility without restricting module access entirely.
✅ Scalable for growing teams — As your team grows, data stays organized and role-appropriate automatically.
This enhancement applies across Movegistics AI, including:
• Leads
• Contacts
• Companies
• Work Requests
• Estimates
• Events
• Operations
• Work Orders
• Reports
• Payments
• Invoices
• Calendars
• And more
