We’re excited to release a major workflow enhancement in Movegistics AI, designed to save dispatchers time and reduce the number of screens needed to manage every job.

You can now confirm customers, assign crews, allocate tools/equipment, and dispatch jobs directly from the Work Order Detail Page — all in one centralized workflow.

💡 Why This Matters

Previously, dispatchers had to navigate between multiple tabs under Operations to complete a dispatch workflow:

• Operations → Confirm → Assign → Dispatch

This created unnecessary tab switching and slowed down operations.

With this enhancement, all three workflows are now combined into a single Dispatch tab inside the Work Order Detail Page, allowing teams to complete the full dispatch process without leaving the work order.

📍 How to Access

Go to: Operations → Work Orders → Open any Work Order → Dispatch Tab

⚙️ What Changed

The new Dispatch section now guides users through the entire workflow in one place.

1️⃣ Client Confirmation

A new confirmation toggle allows dispatchers to mark jobs as customer confirmed directly inside the Dispatch workflow.

This is useful when confirmations happen offline, such as:

• Phone confirmations
• In-person confirmations

The same functionality previously available in the standalone Confirm tab is now accessible directly from the Work Order Detail Page.

2️⃣ Assign Team

Assign resources directly from the Dispatch workflow without navigating to the separate Assign tab.

You can now:

• Load an existing team
• Create a new team
• Assign workers
• Assign contractors
• Assign vehicles
• Add worker notes

The same Assign Resources drawer functionality remains available — now embedded directly into the workflow.

3️⃣ Assign Tools & Equipment

Tools and equipment assignment is now built directly into the dispatch flow.

Assign:

• Tools
• Equipment

Previously, dispatchers needed to navigate separately inside the Work Order Detail Page to assign tools and equipment. Now everything can be completed in a single workflow before dispatching the job.

4️⃣ Dispatch

Once the team is assigned, the Dispatch button automatically becomes active.

Until then, the button remains greyed out to prevent accidental dispatches.

Simply click: 🚚 Dispatch

The system will instantly dispatch the job and notify the assigned crew.

⚠️ What Activates the Dispatch Button?

Only team assignment is required to unlock the Dispatch button.

Important Notes

• Client confirmation is optional before dispatch
• Tools & equipment can be assigned before or after dispatch
• Team assignment is the only required step

The Dispatch button remains disabled until a team is assigned.

🔔 What Happens When You Click Dispatch?

Once dispatched, Movegistics automatically triggers all dispatch notifications:

✅ Crew Portal updated
✅ Crew members notified by email
✅ Work Order synced to the Crew App

Crew App Sync

The Crew App On/Off toggle on the Work Order Detail Page controls whether the job syncs to the Crew App.

Make sure this toggle is enabled before dispatching if your crews use the app.

🔹 Work Order Detail Page (New Workflow)

Best when you are already inside a specific Work Order reviewing:

• Customer details
• Pricing
• Scheduling
• Job updates

This workflow allows you to complete the entire dispatch process without leaving the page.

🔹 Operations Tabs (Existing Workflow)

The standalone:

• Confirm
• Assign
• Dispatch

tabs under Operations remain fully functional.

These views are still ideal for:

• Batch confirmations
• Daily scheduling management
• Assigning multiple jobs for the day
• Managing large dispatch operations
