We've upgraded the estimate workflow to make the signing experience faster, cleaner, and more professional for both you and your customers.
Please take a moment to review the changes below so nothing catches you off guard.

WHAT'S CHANGING
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1. NEW ESTIMATE CREATION FLOW
When creating an estimate, the preview panel on the right side of the screen has been removed. In its place, the final step of the estimate wizard now shows you the actual PDF — exactly as your customer will see it — before you send it. What you preview is exactly what gets sent, with no differences.

2. NEW CUSTOMER-FACING SIGNING PAGE
Your customers will now experience a guided, step-by-step signing process when they open their estimate link:
• Step 1 — Overview: Displays your address, service type, job dates, and the estimate total at a glance.

• Step 2 — Estimate Preview: Your customer can review and download the full estimate PDF before signing.

• Step 3 — E-Signatures: Signatures and initials are now collected section by section (e.g., Valuation, Deposit, Terms & Conditions). Each section auto-advances once completed — no manual scrolling needed.

• Step 4 — Pay Deposit: Once all signatures are complete, customers can pay their deposit directly from the same page (visible only if a deposit is enabled on the estimate).

• Step 5 — View Resources: After signing and paying deposit, customers can access any documents you have attached to the estimate (e.g., compliance booklets, service guides, local move booklets). Each document is displayed with its title and description, and can be downloaded directly from this page.

3. YOUR COMPANY BRANDING ON THE SIGNING PAGE
The estimate signing page will now reflect your company's colors and logo, giving your customers a consistent, branded experience from start to finish.
4. ATTACH DOCUMENTS TO YOUR ESTIMATES
You can now attach supporting documents (compliance booklets, service guides, terms, etc.) directly to the estimate. These appear on the customer's signing page and can optionally also be included as attachments in the estimate email.
5. PDF AND SIGNING PAGE NOW MATCH
Any customizations made to your PDF template will now be reflected on the signing page as well — there will no longer be any discrepancies between the two.

NEW SETTINGS — HOW TO CONFIGURE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Three new tabs have been added under Settings > Sales > Estimates. Here is what each one does and how to set it up:
─────────────────────────────────────
TAB 1 — SIGNATURE CONFIGURATION
─────────────────────────────────────
This is where you control which sections of your estimate require a signature or initials from your customer, and what type of acknowledgment is needed for each.
How to configure:
1. Go to Settings > Sales > Estimates > Signature Configuration.
2. You will see your existing estimate templates listed (e.g., Deposit, Terms & Conditions, Buyer Comments, Scope of Work, Valuation).
3. Click Edit on any template to open its signature settings.
4. Settings are service-type based — you can configure them differently for Local, Interstate, or any other service type.
5. For each template, choose:
• Signature Required — check this box if you want the customer to sign that section.
• Signature Type — choose between:
- Full Signature (customer signs using touchpad or scratch pad), or
- Initials (customer types or draws their initials only).
• Name Field — optionally enable this to prompt the customer to type their printed name after signing.
6. Save your settings. These will immediately apply to all new estimates sent for that service type.
Note: Valuation will always appear on the signing page if valuation settings are configured on the estimate.

─────────────────────────────────────
TAB 2 — RESOURCES
─────────────────────────────────────
This is where you upload and manage documents that will be attached to your estimate — either on the signing page, in the estimate email, or both.
How to configure:
1. Go to Settings > Sales > Estimates > Resources.
2. Click Add to create a new resource.
3. Fill in the following fields:
• Title — give the document a clear name (e.g., "Interstate Rights & Responsibilities Booklet").
• Description — optionally add a short description so customers understand what the document is.
• Service Type — select which service type this document applies to (e.g., Local, Interstate). The document will only attach to estimates of that service type.
• Send as Estimate Email Attachment — check this box if you also want this document to be included as an attachment in the estimate email sent to the customer. If left unchecked, the document will only appear on the signing page.
4. Upload your file — supported formats include PDF, images, Word documents, Excel files, and CSV.
5. Save. You can activate or deactivate resources at any time from this tab.
Note: You can add multiple resources, each mapped to a different service type.

─────────────────────────────────────
TAB 3 — ESTIMATE PAGE THEME
─────────────────────────────────────
This is where you customize the look and feel of your customer-facing estimate signing page to match your company branding.
How to configure:
1. Go to Settings > Sales > Estimates > Theme.
2. You will see color customization options for:
• Background Color — set the page background to match your brand.
• Text Color — adjust the color of the text displayed on the signing page.
• Section / Accent Colors — customize specific areas and elements of the page.
3. Make your changes and save. The updated branding will immediately reflect on all future estimate signing pages sent to your customers.
Note: Your company logo (already configured in your account settings) will automatically appear on the signing page — no additional setup is required for the logo.
