We’ve introduced a new “Send for Approval” workflow in the Movegistics 5.0 Crew App. This allows crews to route job pricing to the office for internal review before completing the job or collecting payment. You can now also make this approval process mandatory for all jobs.

Who this is for:
Moving companies that want tighter control over job pricing before it's finalized—especially those with frequent billing adjustments or that require supervisor oversight before payment is collected.

Why this matters:
✅ Prevents pricing errors before job completion
✅ Reduces post-job corrections and disputes
✅ Adds an audit trail and accountability
✅ Improves communication between crews and the office team
✅ Enables smoother and more professional customer experience

How to use it:

1. Navigate to: Settings > Crew App > General
   
2. Enable one or both of the following options:
   
3. • Send for Approval: If changes are made to the job pricing during the move, the crew can send the job for office review before collecting payment or marking the job complete.
     
   • Make Approval Mandatory: For full control, enable this to require office approval for every job, regardless of whether pricing has changed. The crew must wait for office confirmation before proceeding.
     

Once enabled, crews will see the Send for Approval option in the app. Office staff can review, adjust pricing in the Work Order, and approve the job. Only then can the crew proceed to collect payment.
