📍 New! Timezone-Smart Scheduling + UI Updates Rolling Out This Sunday

Rollout Date: Sunday, April 14, 2025

No more mismatched event times across users in different parts of the world. From now on:

✅ All Events, Work Requests, Work Orders, and Dispatch Views will show times based on the assigned Location’s timezone, not the user’s individual setting.

📍 Example: If a job is scheduled for 10:00 AM EST, every user will see it as 10:00 AM, no matter where they’re located. This eliminates timezone math errors and improves coordination across remote teams.

🔧 What’s changing:

• • 🧭 The Timezone field is being removed from User Profiles
  • 🏢 A new Timezone field is now available at the Location level (under Settings)
  • 🗓️ All scheduling data will now follow the Location's timezone

🧰 Resource Menu Has Moved

To streamline the UI and make room for future configuration updates:

🔀 The Moving Resources menu has now been relocated to the Settings section.

💡 Why This Matters:

• • Prevents scheduling errors when teams are in different regions
  • Gives everyone consistent visibility into dispatch and event timing
  • Simplifies user profile settings
  • Paves the way for more powerful multi-location support

📣 What You Should Do

• Check that your Locations have the correct timezone set under Settings
• If you're training new users, let them know they no longer need to set their own timezone
