• To enhance compliance and streamline move documentation, Movegistics 5.0 now automatically generates a Pre-Move Bill of Lading (BOL) PDF document at the time of booking a Work Request (WR).
• This ensures every booked move begins with a properly documented BOL that can be reviewed, printed, or signed as per state or federal moving compliance standards.
• The Pre-Move BOL feature also supports multi-day move scenarios and provides flexible visibility settings for charge details, giving moving companies full control over how pricing information appears in their documentation.

⚙️ Where to Find It

CRM → Settings → Work Order → Pre-Move BOL

A new module named Pre-Move BOL has been added, where users can:

• Configure and manage Estimated BOL templates based on Service Type
• Select multiple service types for a single Pre-Move BOL template
• Enable or disable the “Show Qty in BOL” option to control pricing visibility
  

🧩 Key Features & Functionality

1️⃣ Automatic Pre-Move BOL Generation

• The Pre-Move BOL PDF is automatically created when a Work Request is booked.
• The Estimated BOL can be download from the Work Order details page.

2️⃣ Multi-Service Type Support

• Configure one Pre-Move BOL template that applies to multiple Service Types (e.g., Local, Interstate, Storage).
• Reduces repetitive template creation and ensures consistency across move types.

3️⃣ Show QTY in BOL (Visibility Flag)

• A toggle setting, “Show Qty in BOL”, controls whether quantities and charges appear in the PDF.
• • ✅ True (Default): Quantities and pricing fields are shown in the BOL.
  • ❌ False: Quantities and pricing fields are hidden for a simplified, compliance-only document.
    

Example Use Case

If a company prefers not to display charges during a pre-move inspection, disabling the flag will automatically hide all cost-related fields in the Pre-Move BOL PDF.

4️⃣ Multi-Day Move Consolidation

• For multi-day moves, only one consolidated Pre-Move BOL PDF is generated.
• The document merges details from all scheduled days of the move into a single file for simplicity and compliance accuracy.
