We’re excited to introduce Real-Time Crew & Truck Location Tracking in Operations!
Now, you can instantly see where your trucks and crews are—right from the Operations tab—without having to call or text them.
Who this is for:
Dispatchers, Operations Managers, and anyone monitoring jobs in real time.
Here’s how it helps you:
📍 Live Location View: Track your crew/truck’s exact location on the map.
⏱ Save Time: No more back-and-forth calls to check status.
📢 Proactive Communication: If there’s a delay, you can update your customer immediately.
🆔 Clear Job Reference: Each truck location displays with the Work Order (WO) ID, Work Order Title and Truck ID. (Refer to the screenshot)
How it works:
1️⃣ Once your crew starts a job in the Crew App, the truck’s live location will appear under Operations → Crew Tracking.
2️⃣ Tracking is available only during the job’s start and end time window based on the time zone set in Settings → Locations.
Example: If a job’s start time is 10:00 AM PST and end time is 12:00 PM PST, tracking will be available during that time. If the time passes 12:00 PM PST, the job will no longer show in Crew Tracking.
💡Tip: If you are in a different time zone than the job location, tracking will still follow the location’s set time zone.
With this update, you’ll always have full visibility of your crew’s movements, so you can plan, respond, and deliver better customer service.
