We are continuing to enhance the Movegistics AI Claims Management module to make claim documentation more complete and easier to manage.

With this latest enhancement, users can now attach claim item photos directly to individual claim items while creating or editing a claim. This allows claim administrators, adjusters, and operations teams to maintain visual evidence for every damaged or missing item involved in a claim.

What’s New?

When creating or editing a claim item, a new section called: 📷 Claim Item Photos is now available directly within the item details screen.

Users can upload photos that are specifically associated with that claim item rather than storing all claim evidence at the claim level.

⚙️ How It Works

Navigate to: Claims → Open Claim → Edit Claim Item

Inside the item details window, users can now:

• Upload claim item photos
• Attach multiple supporting images
• Maintain evidence directly against the damaged item
• Review visual documentation during claim processing

The uploaded images become part of the claim record and remain associated with that individual item throughout the claim lifecycle.

Information Captured Per Claim Item

Along with claim photos, the item record can include:

• Item Name
• Damage Type
• Amount Claimed
• Notes and descriptions
• Claim Tags
• Claim Item Photos

This provides a complete record for each damaged article.

💡 Why This Matters

Previously, claim documentation often relied on claim-level attachments or external image storage, making it difficult to determine which photos belonged to which damaged item.

By attaching evidence directly to the claim item:

Example Use Case

A customer reports damage to a King Size Bed during unloading.

The claim administrator can now:

• Select the item King Size Bed
• Choose the damage type:
• • Broken
  • Marred
  • Scratched
• Enter the claimed amount
• Add notes describing the damage
• Upload photos showing the damaged bed frame, scratches, or broken components

All supporting evidence remains attached directly to that claim item for future reference.
